Hello,
I had Mandrake installed on my laptop dualbooting with windows. I tried
to install redhat 7.1 recently and it fails with an anaconda error, maybe
due to the pre-existing linux partitions. I tried to install Suse 6.3,
but it won't boot. Now, the laptop won't boot up and it comes up with a
grub prompt, I think from the original mandrake.
I have the Linuxcares bootable business card. I was wondering if there
was a way I could boot with this, and get rid of grub, keep the windows
partition, delete what is in the linux partition so I can install redhat
7.1? I can boot from cd, but I don't have the external floppy drive with
me today.
Thanks.
