Agreed. That is always A Good Thing.
My concern is (and I know I've said this before; sorry) that that phrase
about sending canned complaints after the spammer "representing that the
spam came through some place (even if the attribution is bogus)" seems
to mean: "I'm going to complain to postmaster at largesite.com without
knowing or caring whether the spam header implicating Largesite is phoney."
Firing off poorly aimed boilerplate complaints just worsens the problem.
At the minimum, I'd say that those who send them lose all right to
complain about unresponsive postmasters. And shouldn't be surprised
when those postmasters killfile them, in fact.
