(1) You want "debinst" rather than "debinstall".

(2) What you get is a kind of funky slink.5 system.  It might be a challenge
    to upgrade, so you might prefer to start with some a bit more recent.

We dropped the slink installer in the forthcoming release.  I expect it
will be back in the future, but a bit cleaner and with a more recent Debian.

BCCD sounds like a cross between BCD and BCCI.  I think we prefer the name
conflict with those British broadcasters.
