My favourite method of installing is `dd`.  Just dupe an existant
install.  I've slowly built a library of Debian Woody installs on
10G, 15G, and 20G IDE drives and 9G wide SCSI, so I'm pretty well
covered there).

Next up is the Linuxcare BCCD.  Just pop it in, hit "debinstall",
and suck everything off the wire.  And yes, local mirrors help a
lot.
