Another one is
http://oss.sgi.com/projects/kgdb/

which is an enhancement to gdb and requires 2 computers connected over a
serial cable.
Note, you can use gdb to view memory, etc, but it does not allow one to set
breakpoints. This is in the kernel README among other documents.
