Actually, IMHO, there are much better sources of reference than the
comp.lang.c FAQ. The FAQ is a good reference, but it really doesn't do the
material justice, in the big scope of things. I highly recommend the
following 3 works, that taken together, will be far more interesting and
illustrative, than the FAQ.

Kenneth A. Reek; Pointers on C; Addision-Wesley, 1998

Obviously each work requires one to make use of the index to use it as an
effective reference, but these are excellent sources of information. They go
far beyond the superficial nature of the FAQ.
