Hey, I remember researching the Linux [non-] support on that one!
You'll find that there's a great deal of misleading would-be information
about that, on-line, all of which assumes incorrectly that, if the
original PERC controller was supported, the PERC2 must be likewise.

Alas, it's a totally different chipset.  And, unless something wildly
unlikely has happened within the last 14 months, Linux users are SOL.
