On top of the veto of the Calpine plant in South San Jose, the City Council has
OKd new "affordable" housing in the same area. All we need here is more people
to use the meager amount of electricity the powers that be have allotted us
until they get the price rise they want. (Witness the long gas lines of the '70s
and the water rate rise during the drought that has never been reduced.)
