In conjunction with LinuxWorld in San Francisco!
Linux Telephony
Birds of a Feather
(BoF)
Meeting
Anyone interested in telephony on linux is invited to an informal
gathering to discuss the subject. Since all the official LinuxWorld
BoF space is full, we have arranged for a space within a few blocks of
Moscone Center. We'll have some light refreshments, lots of
comfortable space, a large whiteboard, and hopefully a lot of
enthusiastic attendance to discuss open source telephony. We'll even
have a few new products that vendors have sent as demos. This is NOT
a sales event though - it's a BoF! The idea is to meet other
telephony people and talk about where linux (and other open source
OS's) are going in the telephony world.
When: Tuesday August 28
Where: 953 Mission St., Suite #40 - (downstairs)
We'll be putting together a flyer and a map in the next few days.
Watch for a follup announcement!
Everyone is welcome! Please RSVP (to gherlein at herlein.com) if you
know you plan on attending, so that we can make sure we have enough
snacks for everyone!
This BoF is sponsored by Tannis Consulting, Inc. - who are providing
the space, Herlein Engineering, Inc. and the Open Source Telecom
Corporation - who are sharing expenses for the meeting.
