Young man, pick yourself up, dust off your britches, and get back to the
business at hand! Listen to the advice or silence (which is advice) that
those with experience give you. You can only benefit.
Just as you are probably not a pro baseball player, don't expect to walk out
on the field during a game and ask for some pointers. There are tons of
linux user groups, many based from educational locations,
http://www.linux.org/groups/index.html. Find another that will better serve
your level of experience but don't throw away your best resources.
Continue to WATCH the veterans and learn from them AS WELL AS DIGging in to
the overwhelming tons of online documentation. No Effort = No Gain.
