[svlug] colocating a single box?

I just went through this a few weeks ago with a 1U I picked up from VA's fire
sale.
The best I could find in the area was he.net for about $200/mo, but even still
it's a 12 month contract and you are "expected" to fulfill it. You will owe at
least half of the remaining period if you cancel early; that's what I gleaned from
the sales guy.
If you don't own the machine already, something like rackspace.com or
servers.yahoo.com might be a cheaper alternative... although I'm sure plenty of
people have their horror stories from these types of situations.
My recommendation would be to prepare to look outside of the valley if you want
cheap prices.
