[svlug] colocating a single box?

All:
I'm looking for a cost-effective way to colocate a single linux
box on the net, ideally in a hosting facility. All I need is a
single machine - not even a lot of traffic (say 128kbps max) but
I want to control the box. This is for a few web sites and few
mailing lists - most of which is either public service or open
source project related (other than my company's web site). I've
been using my DSL service to do this, but with FirstWorld kicking
it and converting me to straight Covad and the craziness in the
DSL market, I want to explore the cost of some other options.
Does anyone know of a linux friendly situation where I could pay
some reasonable amount of cash and host a box? The commercial
options ($200-$300 per month) are overkill for me - this is not
ecommerce, it's just simple content and email lists.
I'm sure I'm not the only person who wants to do something like
this. Maybe a sharing deal with someone/some other small
company?
Comments and info welcome.
Greg
