[svlug] Netscape 6.01 is a failure!

This morning I went to two business web sites I deal with often ( they
both keep my business credit card on file) and found that Netscape 6.01
will not display the web site properly. On one it worked fine until I
wanted to check out and it went to sleep. Had to kill it.

The place I get my heart medicine cheap put on a new web page telling me
I'm using Netscape 6.01 and that it doesn't work. I went back to version
4.74 and it worked just fine, as usual on this site.

So Rick will look for any of the browsers you mentioned that are from GNU
or at least from the Free Software. By the way the other business asked me
why I wasen't using Microsoft Explorer? They said all people using that
have no trouble with there web pages....

Appears to me that business is making their web designers work best with
the Microsoft broser. Could well be a step against the AOL browser which I
think still works great! Wonder if AOL would make their broser for Linux?
