[svlug] Help in creating a Linux software distribution

Hi,
I would like to distribute my software on a CD. I need
to create a bootable floppy which will boot and 
install my software from CD to harddisk after creating
suitable partitions. I looked at various floppy linux
distributions with the idea of hacking them to suit my
needs. Unfortunately most distributions are geared 
towards creating a "usable" linux version rather than
install software. Tomsrtbt came the closest to my
needs
but it is breaking on me a lot.

Can anyone suggest a better approach? Any pointers 
would be highly appreciated.
