[svlug] BIND updates from WINS servers

Does anyone have a way of dynamically updating a DNS master zone (running on
UNIX) from an NT DHCP/WINS server?

r-commands don't work from NT machines and I think it is because the UNIX
servers are doing reverse lookups and not finding the NT machines in the
reverse lookup table.

The current DNS server and DHCP server are on W2K.

I am moving the DNS server to BIND 9.1 running on RH 7.1, but I doubt that I
can persuade management to move DHCP to UNIX, since DHCP is serving the NT
workstations.
