[svlug] Installing video drivers in Debian

I think the matrox site says somewhere about replacing mga_drv.o that
came with XFree86 with the one from them...

On my mandrake 7.2 system mga_drv.o is in

	/usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers/mga_drv.o

locate or find should help you find it on your system if it's not
there...

And just in case you should make a backup copy before overwriting the
original mga_drv.o...

After replacing it you have to restart X...

p.s. I'm a Green from Southern CA, and I use linux because computing
doesn't have to suck(tm)...
