wait a minute! we were talking about fair hiring practices (as related
to nationality)! this is completely different kind of fairness...
it's not very fair, but remember that these people would earn much
less in india (the real wage). lot (not sure what the percentage is) of
these people get green card in addition to wage (which might be worth
1/3 cut). and also note that this kind of unfairness is only possible
because of how h1b and green card work (=it's unfairness supported by
government). compare to e.g. canada.
