Does/has anyone worked with the Cyclom-4Yo 4 port PCI serial cards
(http://www.cyclades.com/products/svrbas/yseries.htm)? This is on a
Dell Poweredge 1400 server. Output from variuos comands:
%lspci -v
00:04. Communication Controller: Cyclades Corporation Cyclon
Subsystem: cyclade Corporation: Unknown Device 0100
Flags: Medium devsol, IRQ 10
Memory at fe103000 (32bit, non-prefetchable)
I/Oports at ec00
Memory at 000c8000 (low-1M , non-prefetchable)

%scanpci
PCI bus 0x0 cardnum 0x04 function 0x0000: Vendor 0x1200 device 0x0100
Cyclades device unknown

The kernel doesn't reconize the device on bootup(or at least it doesn't
proclaim to) but it does reconzine and intializes both the onboard
serial ports. I could do a 'insmod cyclades' to load the module, it
loads no proplem and shows loaded with 'lsmod', but I still can't find
the device. The closet I come is with /dev/ttyc0, but if I try to do
something with it, it shows "Input/output error".

I have rebuilt the modules the way they say to at their website
(http://www.cyclades.com/download/manual/y_30.pdf) ,but still no go. I
have also been over the serial port how-to quite a few times. Even
tried moving IRQ's around in the BIOS.

Main reason I know it's not working, 'slattach' either freezes the
machine, or gives errors. Also none of the ports (ttyS2 or ttyc0) see
any signals coming into them.

Any Ideas?

TIA

Steve
