Please don't read any illegally copied Microsoft source code (or any
proprietary source code) if it comes your way. If you later contribute
to a free software project that does something related, you could be
putting them in legal jeopardy.

People who have seen proprietary source code are legally "contaminated."

For the same reason, you should not go to a college that has signed a
non-disclosure agreement that allows them to use proprietary source code
in class.
