In Redmond terms, "elitism" means "You're being mean to me by expecting
me to develop some level of basic computing competence".  Microsoft
drones are always glad to recommend buying vastly more powerful
hardware -- which will be required to run ever worse bloatware, and
which is assumed to be paid for by hapless corporations trapping in the 
monopoly buying cycle.
