Some people insist that the cracks they have are not seams from
manufacturing and that they develop and worsen over time.  Maybe they're
full of shit, or maybe Apple is.  Who knows.

Nevertheless, even if it is all seams from molding, Apple is still
screwed.  When you attempt to sell a product based largely on style,
visible blemishes are a simply no no.  Computers and other functional
products can survive visual "cosmetic" defects that "don't affect the
functioning of the product," but fashion/style products can not.
