That may have been H. Peter Anvin and the Genesis (?) Project
to replace
Lilo. The day after I was working on a POS PC we were trying to convert
to a Linux testbed and his name goes scrolling by during the
boot process.
	Neat.

Ob only in SV:	There I was leaning against a early PDP-11 in the Ames
computer museum looking at the name tag on a
shortish indivdual in front of me. Turns out it was
the guy responsible for the PDP-11 design many
moons ago and damned if I can remember his name.
Of course, I also finally saw the computer my first
"hello, world" ran on ( an IBM360-91 ). I still have
			the card deck somewhere.
