[svlug] exportfs/mountd

I'm having a little difficulty with mounting an NFS volume.  I add the
host name (in this case an IP address) of the client using 'exportfs' on

the server,
and then try to mount the volume on the client.  I get an error on the
client saying that Permission was denied.  The part I don't understand
at all though,
is that when I look in my system logger I see that the host
(speciffically mountd) got a request from the IP address I had put on
the export list- but did
not authorize it.

Do you  have any ideas about where the breakdown is?  Or maybe...just
where the mountd looks to to see whether a client is on the exported
list or not.

Any advice/suggestion you could offer would be greatly appreciated.
