[svlug] Xlib: connection to "xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:0.0" refused by server

  try (just for diagnostics, that's not a real solution):

xhost +
run program

xhost -;xhost +localhost
run program

if these succeed, try to figure out who is the owner of the process, it
should be the same uid that started X.
