Yes, I am aware of that. He did mentioned that the distance is 500ft or
less. Cisco Aironet has products that support longer distances, the 340
series for one. There is Linux driver for Aironet. I'll have to dig up
the URL, but it exists.

Of course, with wireless product, real world data rate and distance are
much less than theoretical.
