Which of course, also allows someone to simply set up a public BK server,
granting user 'xyzzy' access to SRCTOP/project0001, user 'snafu' access to
SRCTOP/project0002, etc.

BK can restrict access based on userid, right? So that userid1 can only
access the parts of the source tree he/she is 'allowed' to read/write to,
correct?

The point there being that you can then eliminate even the "name" of the
project, if someone was generous enough to run a semi-public BK server. :)
