Free dialups are funded by advertising. Nobody has found a way to
force you to watch advertising on Linux, as far as I know, nor is it
very cost-effective to try to figure it out.
So there are no free dialups like NetZero that work with Linux.
Free POP accounts are all over. You might try
http://dir.yahoo.com/Business_and_Economy/Business_to_Business/Communications_and_Networking/Internet_and_World_Wide_Web/Email_Providers/Free_Email/
and see who there does POP.
