For varying definitions of "some regularity". My box has been up for
approaching a month and a half:
11:11am up 41 days, 11 min, 4 users, load average: 3.14, 2.52, 2.33
...and tends to stay up for a while (mostly powerouts lately):
- Uptime for navel -
Now : 41 day(s), 00:12:15 running Linux 2.2.14
One : 44 day(s), 19:44:42 running Linux 2.2.14, ended Wed Apr 19 01:26:29 2000
Two : 41 day(s), 00:12:04 running Linux 2.2.14, ended Sun Jul 23 11:11:13 2000
Three: 40 day(s), 05:23:25 running Linux 2.2.14, ended Mon May 29 07:13:22 2000
My work box is somewhat infamously unstable (previously a
2.2.14 kernel / smbfs bug, currently scsi errors propogating to X
lockups), but I tend to get a week or more out of it at a stretch --
enough that I haven't taken the time to root out the problem.
My X session here at home has been running since June 12 -- 11 days.
Pretty good, don't recall why I took it down the last time.
karsten 1272 0.0 1.9 7048 1856 ? S Jun12 15:11 /usr/bin/X11/WindowMaker
I'll also add that WindowMaker is officially beta -- it's an 0.6x
release currently. Not that version number have necessarily had any
relationship to software stability....
