One thing I find curious: With the exception of Enlightenment, it
seems that none of the "new" rash of window managers supports a page
that provides an overview of the virtual desktop pages (so you can
see what's on them), yet most of the older window managers, eg FVWM,
explicitly support overview pagers.  Why the difference?  (aside:
Gnome appears to support this as a third party app in relation to
the WM, but that's not what I'm talking about, especially for the
non-Gnome window managers).
