I can't speak for Rick but for me, entirely too often (perhaps monthly; I
most often trigger it by opening an xterm as the very first window in a
otherwise blank desktop). This may be fixed in the 0.62 series; I'm
still using 0.61.1.

My 486 operates as an X terminal and is always running wmaker. My local
network has in the neighborhood of 4k/s average activity, and there are
other apps that are resonsible for a good part of that.
Now granted, I don't actually use wmaker on that 486 much, I just run
the apps I run there and leave them running. So I'm not moving windows
around a lot.
