It's alive and well, QNX. Their demo floppy disk is impressive. 1.4MB
includes "mini X" with a web browser, TCP/IP stack and more. Only guys who
develop embedded systems know that smaller is better. There is an open
project going on for mini X but you won't see it on any "popular
distribution."
