[svlug] text files on Mac's, Windoze, and Linux

There's dos2unix and it's complement, unix2dos, which I found
looking through google (though they aren't installed in my load of
Mandrake). Also, on freshmeat I find hd2u, a bi-directional utility
of unknown quality among many such tools in the
appindex->console->text utilities section.
