Please note a polite but clear distinction, between what I wrote and the
view that you and perhaps Ray share:  My rejoinder (less than an
"objection") served _only_ to lament the lack of taste and wit in a
seeming inept attempt at humour.

We _all_ know the schoolyard epithets:  Most of us have the sense not to
drop them into conversation and think ourselves clever.  But....

Calling the impulsive and tacky ones bigots, in return, obviously cannot
be supported by established fact, and is best understood as a "free",
(currently) socially sanctioned low blow.  As such, it is neither
reasonable, nor insightful, nor commendable.

California culture thinks it's "progressive" to do thus.  Unfortunately,
self-congratulation and brainless fixation on surface niceties should
not be confused with progress.
