Well, Mentor is doing it. And it is only a matter of time until all
EDA tools are ported to Linux.

Although I can't mention any names, I know of several local companies that
are simulating entire chipsets on large Linux clusters.
My advice: Have the management look at the implications for business
expansion as the IA-64 platforms become mainstream technology. Any EDA
companies that want to maintain market-share growth simply can't afford
to ignore this platform + Linux clustering technology. It's compelling.
