You know that and I know that, but some people seem to have the idea
that C++ == OO == Inherently Good. The kind of people who insist that
GTK+ isn't "really" OO because it's not written in C++.

Basically, I think it boils down to: it's possible to write bad code
in any language. OO is really a side issue here. It is not and will
never be the infamous silver bullet.
The more flexible (and therefore useful) a language is, the more rope
it offers to hang yourself with.
