When the list was switched to mailman, I believe Michael (the list admin)
announced the change.

I looked into it, but:
svlug:/var/local/mailman/bin# ./list_members svlug | grep hart
hartmann at web.de
derhart at quicknet.net
svlug:/var/local/mailman/bin# ./list_members svlug-announce | grep hart
derhart at quicknet.net
svlug:/var/local/mailman/bin# ./list_members svlug-announce | grep redhat
svlug:/var/local/mailman/bin# ./list_members svlug | grep redhat
rjray at redhat.com
mgalgoci at redhat.com

I'm assuming you finally managed to unsubscribe yourself.

That said, you would have gotten a response much quicker if you
had Emailed the right people, i.e. svlug-admin at lists.svlug.org or
mailman-owner at svlug.org
(it turns out that Michael doesn't have time to read the list. Myself, I
read it when I have time, which is sometimes not often (I'll even go as far
as posting without having caught up my backlog sometimes :-D))

So
#1 - don't complain on the list, complain to the listmaster
     If you did Email the listmaster and you didn't get an answer (shouldn't
     happen, but we all make mistakes), complain to officers at svlug.org

#2 - for other people: don't Email me or any other person in particular,
     some of us are _really_ busy and may answer you much later (sometimes
     several weeks as far as I am concerned).
     Officers -> officers at svlug.org
     Mailman/lists -> mailman-owner at svlug.org
     Web -> web-team at svlug.org (webmaster points there too)

     You shouldn't have to track who's in charge of what at any moment, the
     aliases should do that work for you :-)

Thank you for your helpful suggestions as always. How about suggesting to
contact the listmaster first next time?

You probably typed the wrong Email address or you have some other mail
problem. Mailman password send feature seems to work fine for everyone else.

That wasn't really the right place to ask, but we finally got to your Email
:-)
