It is still probably a good idea to let Netscape do some amount of
memory caching.  It is probably faster and more efficient to pull an
object out of a local (to the application) memory cache than retreive it
from a local (to the network) Squid.  It probably doesn't need to be too
very large though, and with the squid setup you certainly don't need a
Netscape disk cache.
