I guess it is running, since telnet works. BTW, how can I find out
all the processes that are running using ps?

I configured /etc/ftpaccess which has:
class myclass real *

and also the /etc/hosts.allow has all the hosts I allow.

# which ftp
/usr/bin/ftp

#which telnet
/usr/bin/telnet

#which tcpd
/usr/sbin/tcpd

#ftp myserver
Connected to myserver
421 Sercice not available, remote server has closed connection
ftp>

I am sorry I am not replying to all the people who sent me message.
Thanks for your help.

There are must be lots people using Red Hat 5.2, you dont have problem
with ftp?

bye,

Jonathan
