Dumb questions: 

  Is the link light lit on the back of your NIC?  (bad cable or card)

  What does ifconfig report for that port?

  Did you move subnets when you moved?

  Is the new net 100Meg and the old 10Meg? 

  What happens when you ping the broadcast address for that net?
