Ahem.  The controls are a little tighter than that.  You have to be
using a recent copy of one of a very few distributions, you have to
still be using their default MTA and MTA configuration (one of the
first things I do to any system, including my boxes at HP, Sun, SGI
and VA, is to rip out sendmail by its roots), and you must not have
installed any update or contrib packages which affect that.

That all said, I've become rather impressed with maildrop
(http://www.flounder.net/~mrsam/maildrop/) as a more competent and
faster replacement for procmail.
