ONE BIG difference.
warez = illegal copying AGAINST copyright.
If I release something to the general public in say GPL copy to you hearts
content, just keep me in the credits.
If I SELL a software product I would have second thoughts about making it
available for Linux if people are trying to get the "warez kids" over to
that platform. I would have enough trouble with them on windows.
P.S. I do consider it spamming. It is spamming the search engines.
