Well, there are already 7,061 pages indexed for Linux AND Warez on
Alta-Vista, so I would say you are too late in your protests. Besides,
this is a free country, anyone can put up a page saying just about
anything as long as it is not libel or slander. (Not that it seems to
stop people from doing it anyway...)

Oh, you are afraid that giving them Linux is like giving them a set
of master keys to the net, and telling the security guys to go home?
You know, you just might have a point there... I do seem to recall
writing something about that, not sure if here or on another forum.

What you consider relevant is not what the rest of the world
considers relevant. People associate things the way they want to, not in
accordance with some regid centraly dictated hierarchy. They tried that
twice, the central Roman Catholic Church, and the communist central
planning system. The church burned anyone who disagreed with them, and
the communists froze anyone who disagreed with them in Siberia. Fire or
Ice, neither is nice!
I do not consider a site advocating linux using the term warez as
spamming. Neither do the people who put those 7000+ pages up. Linux
shares many of the attributes that people associate with watez -- free,
downloadable, fun to hack around with, etc.

MS asks "Where do you want to go?"
Linux asks "What do you want to do?"
It is doers, not goers, who built this world!
