[svlug] Problems with Linux NIS in Sun environ

I have a few linux sparcs that seem to work ok connecting to our solaris nis
(nis+ actually, but the linux boxes are only trying nis.) not all the yp
commands work, but it authenticates users and finds hosts without any trouble.
I assume some of the trouble is trying to talk nis to a nis+ server, yes it
basically works but some yp commands don't work like you'd expect.
everything is functional, so I didn't really dig any deeper. I haven't had to
send mail from/to those machines (they're basically servers) so I don't know
about that part.
