Two things you need to consider. One, is the scsi port type. Sounds like
a 50pin, likely is a scsi2 device (but if scsi2-fast, changes answer a
bit). Two, do you want isa or pci? ISA means less cpu usage, and if you
plan on moving from ISA as Intel is pushing for, a PCI might be better.
Oh, and might as well consider driver support.. For the most basic setup,
you could run an Adaptec 6x60 card (is hard to find one with an outter
port), which are $5 isa scsi2 cards (ProLogic sells a duplicate).
For your Adaptec.. hmm.. let's see.. check the web pages for jumber
settings.. if not.. to bad. Make sure to set it to multiple LUN support,
though. Else you're card wont be happy with another scsi..
