I could do it:

- internal modem ("I got better")
- iButton Blue Dot Receptor
- Palm3 cradle
- PalmPilot cradle (for visiting friends who lack Palm3)
- Ricochet modem (now and then)
- Matrox Orbital LCD display
- another Matrox Orbital LCD display
- serial mouse (occasionally)

This neglects the fact that I want to make a serial interface to external TTL
devices so that I can play with robotics, data acquisition, and other fun
stuff. Counting a serial port for such an I/O interface, I'd need nine
serial ports to plug everything in at once.

I guess this is what, in the absence of multiport boards, lots of 386
machines with 16550s and Ethernet are for. :-)

Wow, I haven't seen that symbol in a while.

He said, "This is what the king who will reign over you will do." And they
said, "Nay, but we will have a king over us, that we also may be like all the
nations." (1 Sam 8) http://ishmael.geecs.org/~sigma/ http://www.loyalty.org/
