when I messed around with my upgrade from ppro-200 to k6-2/300 using old srams
the system would just beep at me indefinitely... and nothing on the
screen because the cpu has "no memory"
	- unplugging the sram gave the same error symptons

so using a good 100Mhz sram solved that problem...

think you'd know if the memory is no good...the system doesn't do nothing...
at least w/ the asus p5a mb
