Rob,

It has one IDE harddrive and one IDE CD-ROM drive.

I created bootdisk from "barepnp.i"; It "LILO"-ed, and after the
ramdisk is set up (ok), it said "crc error - system halted".

Then created bootdisk from "bare.i". This time it went further,
after "start ramdisk ........" and "Uncompress Linux ..." (three
dots, this is very quick), and then it is dead silent.

Finally I tried "bare.i" from kernel 2.0.30 (the other two were
2.0.29), just for the heck of it. It only displayed "LI" and got
stuck -- not even "LILO". That really made me wonder if K6-2 is
the source of problems.

Thanks,
James
