[svlug] could anyone help me about X-Windows's problem.

[Mr.Winds]

my video card is S3 Trio64V+(S3 86c765) 2M Ram
and i use Red Hat 5.0 .
i use "xf86config" command in root to setup my X server,
horizontal and vertical value like windoze95, no RAMDAC
no Clockchip, when finish that. i use "startx" to start my
X windows , but it show black screen after i see something
(i clear know that is no error message because i use Trident
9440 video card also show that thing). i think it dead, but i
use "Ctrl-Alt-Del" my computer show normal shutdown
action .
i don't know why my computer like that and i don't know
how to fix that. Could anyone help me ?
