[svlug] Using True Type fonts in Xwindows (Is this sacriledge?)

I downloaded and installed xfstt (It let's you use TrueType fonts
under Xwindows) last night. So far it's pretty spiffy, particularly
when using Netscape.

I was wondering if anyone else has experimented with it or any
similar programs?

Also, I wonder if there would be legal ramifications (like say if the
program caught on and gets M$'s attention) on using/distributing such
a program?

To me it seems like fair game. Microsoft has been borrowing from *nix
for years. I say it's only fair that I be able to use the fonts I
paid for on my Linux box. Then again, what's fair and what's legal
aren't always the same...
