[svlug] Brieflike editors...

Several years BL (Before Linux) I started using an editor put
out by Underware called Brief.  Borland bought it and dropped
it on the floor, but there have been several clones of it made.
Lately, I've been using one of the clones, Crisp, which runs
on Linux (and Solaris, and Sunos and Doze...) and is very nice,
but it's license manager works too well.  I don't mind paying
for good software, but I do mind buying a copy for every machine
that I own and I have a pretty good collection of obsolete
equipment.

Are there any other good Brief clones out there?  Failing that,
has anyone written a set of brief keybindings for Emacs?

And yes, I know that if I were a RealMan (TM), I'd learn the
standard Emacs keybindings, yet again.
